What I will get into however are some basic tried and true methods that have always been successful and will always be successful if you put in the time and effort.
The first method we're going to get into is SEO (search engine optimization). This requires you to decide on a specific niche, build a website, and try to increase the rank in Google ahead of your competition and ultimantly to the #1 ranking on Google. If your website is not on the first page of Google, you are not going to get traffic. Plain and simple. Yahoo and Bing are nice and all but Google dominates the market, and the average Googler doesn't look past the first page, and sometimes not past the first 3-4 search results.
Building a web page is not hard at all. It is going to cost you some cash, around $80/year. But I made $90 my first month not knowing what I was doing, so if you work you can easily turn that around and pull straight profit. Since there is enough demand, I am going to create a very brief and basic guide of how to get a website up and running with wordpress installed to get you on your feet. Click here to give it a look and get started when you're ready.
When you make your website, you have to have hosting and a domain. I have two recommendations for you in this area.
First off, I have an EXCLUSIVE coupon code for you readers of this guide at HostGator.com. If you enter coupon code NOOBMAKEMONEY you will receive $9.94 off of your hosting, which ends up giving you 1 month free! Don't ever say I didn't pull any strings for you guys.
With HostGator.com, you are going to want to choose the Baby Plan. No, I'm not getting anything for recommending you a more expensive plan. The fact of the matter is, that with the Hatchling plan you can only host 1 domain. That might not mean much to you now, but there is a very good chance you are going to end up buying more domains and wanting to expand with more websites. The extra $2/month is easily worth the Baby plan because you can host unlimited domains with it. I'm just trying to save you from future headaches down the road. Go ahead and head on over to HostGator.com and get signed up if you're ready. If not, don't forget to use the promo code NOOBMAKEMONEY when you get ready. No point in spending more money than you have to.
Now, if you have hosting, you're doing to need a domain name. Once you do some research and decide what you want to use for a domain name, I recommend GoDaddy.com
With HostGator and GoDaddy for domains, you really can't go wrong. Theyboth have excellent customer service, great pricing, and are simple to use, among other features. You can go to them and read about the tons of features they all come with (stuff like unlimited email, bandwidth, etc.).
After you've built your website, you are going to want to drive traffic to it. The best way is through SEO techniques, like building backlinks. All backlinks are are links from other websites linking back to yours. Hence the term backlink. Building these is as simple as leaving comments on blogs with your websites link embedded in the comment, joining forums with your link in your signature and posting, and other methods like this. you want the websites to be "dofollow" For deeper and more comprehensive insight into backlinking, just Google search it. You'll come up with a million articles that explain it very well, much deeper than I'm going to go with this noob guide. (You can also pay for other people to build you backlinks if you want to be lazy about it)
Fore a more in depth look at SEO techniques such as keywords and backlinking, head on over to the Digital Ballers forums. While you're there, sign up and say hey! Everyone there is generally nice and willing to help you out with specific questions.
Another way to earn money is to promote these offers using PPC (pay per click) methods of advertising. This basically means signing up through Google Adwords or promoting your offer using Facebook ads. You would make a website, and build a landing page which its main goal is to get people to click on your offer and obviously convert, earning you money. Each time someone clicks on one of your ads, you pay whether they end up generating you a lead or not. The overall goal is to make more per lead than you pay per click. If not, you're just loosing money. This also takes an initial investment, but should easily become profitable if done correctly.
These are just two basic methods of how to promote your offers. There are many, many, many more ways to generate leads and make money, and I guarantee you the people who make six figures a year doing this are utilizing their own methods they came up with. Think outside of the box when it comes to this, and put in the time/effort/money/work and your investment will pay off sooner than you think.
I hope this noob guide helps you. It is pretty basic, but if you can't make money using this guide, than you might not be cut out for this world. I tried to keep it short and simple and didn't want to over-complicate things. I'm not trying to give you hand-outs, but more of a basic guide of how to get started in this world.
You're going to need to use your brain to try and become successful in this. I'm going to be building and working on it more, but for now I'm going to dedicate Chapter 4 to Questions and Answers that you guys, the readers, post as comments on here. So if you have questions, ask, and look for them to be answered in Chapter 4: Q&A.
